When we memorized about our childhood what comes first in our mind? A folk tale….. Yes of course it was a folk tale. Some of you might hear these stories from your Grand Paa or some of you from your Grand Maa.

But………..

My Canada Trip

Today I am going to tell you all, a Japanese folk tale and the name of that tale is “Momotaro or Little Peachling”

A long long time ago there lived an old man and an old woman. One day the sun was beating down on the mountain, the old man went to cut the grass; and the old woman went to the river to wash clothes. While she was washing a great big thing came tumbling and splashing down the stream. When the old woman saw it, she was very glad, and pulled it to her with a piece of bamboo that lay nearby.
